Change Your Clocks, Change Your Batteries

Big Bear, Ca, October 31, 2011, 3:00pm - Daylight savings time ends this Sunday, November 6th, and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, and local fire agencies remind you to change the battery in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.  Fire agencies call it the Change Your Clock Change Your Battery Program, which serves to remind people when they change their clock for daylight savings, to also change the battery in these safety devices.  The CAL FIRE San Bernardino Unit wants to remind everyone that one easy step can save the lives of you and your loved ones.
