Those closest to Greg Boll have planned a celebration of life to remember the man who had long contributed to the Big Bear Valley before his passing this past Monday at age 48. The memorial for Greg Boll will be held this Sunday, August 23 at 5pm at the Big Bear Discovery Center on the North Shore in Fawnskin (at 40971 North Shore Drive/Highway 38). Boll’s companion Kris Assel says that he loved Big Bear and was passionate about getting people out on Big Bear Lake. So, in lieu of flowers, donations in Boll’s memory can be made to the U.S. Adaptive Recreation Center, which provides summer jetski, sailing and fishing programs for individuals with disabilities. The USARC can be contacted via their website at usarc.org; for more information on Boll, and his many contributions to the Big Bear Valley, see story posted August 18.
