Cedar Lake and Mill Creek Areas Provide Backdrop for “America’s Most Wanted”; Episode Airs on Saturday

“America’s Most Wanted” was in Big Bear Lake last week—not in pursuit of criminals, but to do some filming in the woods, to recreate an incident in which a cross-country skier had been attacked in the Portland area. Though the subject matter may be disturbing, the Mill Creek and Cedar Lake areas will be included in the program, for those interested in tuning in to “America’s Most Wanted,” scheduled to air this Saturday at 9pm on the FOX television network. As noted by Doug Walton, who served as the location scout on the project, “We are still Hollywood’s backlot here in Big Bear.”
Update: Since the airing of the segment on March 21, the two fugitives were found and apprehended in Mexico on March 26!
