BVUSD Students Return to School and New Superintendent Starts Today

Students enrolled in the Bear Valley Unified School District returned to school today after a two-week fall break.  Today is also the first day for the School District’s new superintendent, Dr. Nancy Wright.  Dr. Wright comes to Big Bear after a thirty-year professional career in education in Colorado.  She has served as a teacher for over ten years, in various administrative positions for 12 years, and as a highly successful superintendent for eight years.  As for relocating to Big Bear, Dr. Wright states, “A smaller community provides the chance to know staff, students and community members.”
