Big Bear THRIVES! with Tai Chi

Big Bear Lake, CA, January 25, 2013 – Big Bear THRIVES! is a movement to live in our community in a socially conscious and environmentally sustainable way. Attendees at its free monthly gatherings are welcome to bring business cards and literature in alignment with this theme, and to participate in a light, healthy potluck.

The next Big Bear THRIVES! gathering is this Sunday, January 27th from 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm at the Big Bear Discovery Center, where Sensei Anthony von Sager will speak on the health benefits of Tai Chi. Mr. von Sager overcame the physical limitations of cerebral palsy thanks in part to Tai Chi, and became a Black Belt Champion and Teacher.  He has devoted his life to helping people of all ages and physical conditions — injured and handicapped athletes — using a combination of the healing arts Chi Gong and Tai Chi, rehabilitation, and physical therapy.

Big Bear THRIVES! is sponsored by the Mountain Healing Arts Association.  For more information call (909) 585-7228.
