Big Bear, Ca February 26, 2011 3:00 pm – Sunday evening, the 83rd Academy Awards ceremonies will be held in Los Angeles. In Big Bear, there will be two Oscar parties where movie fans can share the festivities with friends and watch the show on the big screen. “The Stooges” At the Oscars event is a fundraiser hosted by Bob Jackowski for Soroptomist International’s Man About Town. The Red Carpet begins at 4:30 pm at the Big Bear Lake Civic Center. The requested donation is $25.00. Call 909-838-5874 for reservations and information. The Big Bear Lake International Film Festival will have their Oscar party beginning at 5:00 pm at Nottinghams in the Village.
