Big Bear Lake, CA — The Department of Water and Power may purchase excess spring water from the Big Bear City Community Services District, as has been done in the past. During yesterday’s meeting, the Board of Commissioners directed staff to open discussions with CSD, to negotiate agreements and necessary documentation to make this possible. During the March 23 meeting, commissioners also reviewed the USDA’s floodplain notification, and approved the 2010 Memorandum of Understanding with employees. Future DWP meetings, per Board approval, will be held on the third Tuesday of each month at 9am, starting with the May 2010 meeting (on May 18).
