The City Council of Big Bear Lake meets for their second regular meeting of the month this evening at 6:30pm in Hofert Hall. Consent calendar items on the agenda include city facilities use requests from the Old Miners’ Days Association and the Run the Bear Marathon, as well as the Development Code amendment pertaining to bed and breakfast establishments. The City’s Redevelopment Director Lyle Haynes will also present the potential Small Business Sign Replacement Program, an item that had been held during the meeting of June 8, due to time constraints in what became a nearly five hour session. This evening’s meeting, which is open to the public, will also include an update on Village improvements.
