Big Bear Chamber of Commerce Offers Power Breakfast and Small Businesss Workshop

Big Bear Lake, CA, August 4, 2010, 3:02pm – Early risers can join the Big Bear Chamber of Commerce for the monthly power breakfast at the Best Western at 7am.  Guest speakers include Louisa Miller of the Small Business Development Center and Lyle Haynes, Redevelopment Director of the City of Big Bear Lake.  The cost of the power breakfast is $12 for members and $15 for non-members.  Additionally tomorrow, the City of the Big Bear Lake and the Big Bear Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a free workshop for small businesses to help them understand the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) laws, discuss compliance, and help any business ensure they meet requirements to avoid potential litigation.  The Workshop will be conducted by Dan Kaiser of Access Services Plus and is geared for any small business that operates a store front where they host clients or customers such as retail, restaurants, and services to name a few.  The Workshop will be held at the City of Big Bear Lake Civic Center located at 39707 Big Bear Blvd tomorrow, August 5th from 10am to 12 noon.  Call the Chamber at 866-4607 to register.
