Big Bear Bridge Open, But Not To Pedestrians

Cal Trans Slow for the Cone ZoneBig Bear, Ca, June 27, 2011, 3:00pm - The new bridge over Big Bear Dam opened to traffic on Friday, June 24, however, CalTrans released today that access will not be available on the pedestrian walkway until work is completed on the bridge rails.  CalTrans asks that pedestrians stay off the bridge until the bridge rails are completed.  Also in light of recent tragic Caltrans worker fatalities, the Department asks that the public slow down, move over, and drive safely through the work zone.
