roadworksign-thumbWe can expect continued flagging and subsequent delays on Big Bear Boulevard this week. However, this $630,000 resurfacing project, extending 10 miles from Boulder Bay to Big Bear City, is expected to wrap by September’s end. In the meantime, motorists can expect continued roadwork on Big Bear Boulevard from 8am to 3pm. Ongoing roadwork also continues at the Big Bear bridge project which will continue through 2011 once the new bridge for Highway 18 at the Big Bear dam is completed. Weekday delays on Highway 18, at Big Bear Lake’s western-most end, are scheduled for 7am to 5pm, and may account for delays up to 15 to 20 minutes.
