Dr. Nancy Wright has resigned from her position at the Bear Valley Unified School District

Big Bear Valley, CA, August 27, 2010, 5:00pm – According to sources at the Bear Valley Unified School District, Superintendent Dr. Nancy Wright has given notice for personal reasons and will be relocating back to Florida.  She announced her resignation Friday afternoon, August 27, 2010, and informed every teacher in the District in the form of a letter.  Her last day will be October 1, 2010.  Dr. Wright joined the BVUSD on October 19, 2009 bringing with her a wealth of knowledge having spent nearly 30 years with a career in education.  Last year when she was hired by BVUSD, Dr. Wright was serving as an interim superintendent in Colorado.
