Bear Valley Community Healthcare District Special Meeting, August 16th

Big Bear, Ca, August 16, 2010, 12:00pm The Bear Valley Community Healthcare District will hold a special meeting tonight, August 16th. A closed meeting will take place from 5:00pm to 6:30pm, with the open meeting to begin at 6:30pm. Items for discussion during closed session include: conference with legal counsel over a claim from the legal counsel of Vi Colunga, conference with Labor Negotiators, and public employee evaluations. Items discussed during open session will include employee recognition for five employees including Scott Rogers, the Director of Radiology, IS & Plant Operations, who has been with the hospital for 30 years. Other items include various committee reports, expenditure reports, and an update on the Mom and Dad Project grant process. As always public comment will be available before both closed and open session.

Angela Meyers moved to Big Bear in August of 2009, after spending a summer in Washington DC. Angela’s parents Roy and Susan Meyers met at Big Bear High School in 1967, and her Grandfather Rob Jacobson worked at the Big Bear Lake Post Office for 28 years. Angela graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a degree in Public Relations. While at CSUF she was the Director of Public Relations for the Associated Students for two years. Angela is a member of the Big Bear Valley Trails Foundation, The Big Bear Cycling Association, and races for, and is the co captain of Team Tough Chik, an all women's multi sport team.
