The defending champions placed fourth overall, with senior Jake Murie running his way to an eighth overall finish. Congratulations, Bears!
In other BBHS sports news, today’s soccer game against Hesperia has been canceled. The team will instead have practice outside the gym at 6pm.
Other activities at Big Bear High School this week include Financial Aid Night on Tuesday. Parents are encouraged to attend this 6pm meeting in the high school’s media center, as information on college financial aid will be available.
On Thursday, BBHS presents the Winter Concert at the Big Bear Lake Performing Arts Center. The evening of holiday music, including the Jazz Band, Concert Choir, Concert Band and selected soloists, begins at 7:30pm on the 3rd. General admission tickets are $5 and proceeds benefit the Performing Arts Club at the high school.
