BBHS Graduates Kenneth Webster and William Lewis Complete U.S. Army Training

On this, Veterans Day, we want to salute two Big Bear High School graduates from the Class of 2009 who have entered into military service. William Lewis, son of Deaun Nelson of Big Bear City, and Kenneth Webster, son of Wendy Boyer of Sugarloaf, are now Army Privates, having each completed nine weeks of training. Army Private William Lewis graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma in October, and Army Private Kenneth Webster graduated from Basic Infantry Training at Fort Benning in Columbus, Georgia earlier this month.

After graduating from BBHS, Catherine moved to Los Angeles to attend Loyola Marymount University. In her 20 years off the mountain, most recently in Manhattan Beach, Catherine's career has included publishing, broadcasting, public relations and public education; she served as KBHR's News Director from April 2007 to July 2010.
