May 7 Auditions Scheduled for “Fandance,” to Benefit Hospital Foundation in August

rowemisty220vThe Bear Valley Community Hospital Foundation has announced it will sponsor the world premiere of “Fandance,” a dance musical based on the legend of Sally Rand. The play is written and choreographed by Misty Rowe (pictured) of “Hee Haw” fame, and directed by Beth Gardner. Net proceeds from the three performances in August will go to our local hospital. The producers are looking for a petite actress who moves well to play the lead role of Sally Rand in her mature years, from ages 40 – 70. There are also a variety of character roles open for all ages and types. Auditions will be held May 7, from 5 to 9pm at 578 Bonanza Trail. Actors should bring a picture and resume to the audition and be prepared to cold read for other parts. Scenes may be picked up in advance at the Hospital Gift Shop starting this Friday, between 10am and 3pm. Please contact Julie Grandi at 909-709-8670 to schedule an audition appointment.
