Vietnam Veterans’ National Day Of Recognition

Big Bear Lake, CA, March 28, 2013 - American Legion Post 584 will “Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans” on Saturday, March 30. The post, at 41606 Big Bear Blvd., Big Bear Lake, will put out a food spread at 3 p.m. for all veterans who served in Vietnam. Interim Commander Bill Wilson said the post celebrates the national day of recognition and looks forward to meeting Big Bear Valley’s many Vietnam-era veterans. The American Legion hopes all Vietnam veterans will stop by and see how their local American Legion can be a part of their lives after service to our country.
