April deadlines for screenwriters

Big Bear Lake, CA, March 24, 2013 –  Key dates are approaching for the 14th annual Big Bear Lake International Film Festival (BBLIFF). The remaining entry deadlines are as follows:

SCREENPLAYS
April 1, 2013: Late Deadline, Entry Fee $50
April 7, 2013: Withoutabox.com Extended Deadline, Entry Fee $60
Big Bear Locals Entry Fee $35

FILMS
May 3, 2013 postmark date: Regular Deadline, $45
May 31, 2013 postmark: Late Deadline, $50/$35 Big Bear Mountain Resorts Connection
June 17, 2013 postmark: Withoutabox.com Extended Deadline, $70

Complete guidelines on film and screenplay entries are at www.bigbearlakefilmfestival.com/filmmakers-screenwriters. Over $10,000 worth of prizes is given out each year.

Since 2000, BBLIFF has showcased independent films and screenplays within the idyllic setting of Big Bear Lake. The public festival also features networking and educational events, with industry professionals acting as jurors, panelists and lecturers.

The 14th annual festival is set for September 20 – 22, 2013 and will screen domestic and foreign films in these categories: Feature Films, Short Films, Documentaries, Animation, Student Films and Family Films.
