Scaled-Back Search for Dorner Continues

Big Bear Lake, CA, February 10, 2013 – The search to locate Christopher Dorner continues in the Big Bear area with approximately 25 officers on the ground and a helicopter providing aerial support, according to Sunday’s press release from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.  As the number of cabins, rentals and unoccupied/vacation homes has diminished, the amount of personnel and resources has been scaled back accordingly.  Although there have been no sightings reported locally, and officers have found no new evidence that points to a location in the Big Bear area, the Sheriff’s Department remains committed to the public’s safety.
