Sheriff’s Department Clears Up Dorner Rumors

Big Bear Lake, CA February 9, 2013 – The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department has canceled a press conference scheduled for noon today on the hunt for fugitive Christopher Dorner, and they have relocated the search’s┬áCommand Post to the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station. No further details were available as of this morning.

During an afternoon press conference Friday, Sheriff’s Department Public Information Officer Cindy Bachman clarified some points:

* The property owned by Dorner’s mother in the San Bernardino Mountains is an undeveloped plot of land in Arrowbear.

* There are no indications of an accomplice.

* Crews investigated a kicked-in cabin door in Seven Oaks and determined it was old damage.
