Big Bear Lake, CA, December 12, 2012 – The Big Bear Superior Court is going to close in May. The scheduled court closure is the result of cost reductions that are expected to eliminate an operating budget shortfall. The Big Bear Superior Court will no longer be open three days a month effective May 6, 2013. In addition, the Needles and Barstow courts will close. Three judges will be let go because of the cuts, along with 22 other positions, and night court services in San Bernardino County will be discontinued.
