Valley Charities Get Grant Money

Big Bear Lake, CA, November 23, 2012, 6am  - On Monday evening, November 12, the Big Bear Lake Antique Car Club donated over $15,000 in grants to many of the Valley’s charities. These monies represented the organization’s profits from the annual “Fun Run” car show held in the Valley every August.

The November grant recipients included the following local organizations:

Citizens On Patrol

Bear Valley Search and Rescue

Bear Mountain Dog Rescue

Service Dog Training

Miss Big Bear Valley Scholarship

Mihaylo Foundation Scholarships

AAUW Tech Trek Scholarship

Bear Valley Community Hospital Auxiliary

Friends of the Big Bear Library

Bear Valley Community Nursery School

Baldwin Lake Volunteer Fire Department

Big Bear Strings

Big Bear Valley Hummingbird Project

Big Bear Valley Marine Corps League

Big Bear High School Special Education

Kiwanis Hope Of America
