Road Repair Project On Highway 38

Big Bear Valley, CA, September 13, 2012 - Caltrans is working on a $2.9 million highway maintenance project to dig out damaged pavement on State Route 38 from Greenway to Big Bear Dam along the north shore. Matich Corporation is the contractor for the project and the work hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm with flagging. There will be one-way controlled traffic at various locations. The project is expected to last until fall. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and take alternate routes to avoid delays.
