May 21 Village Street Closures to Be Reviewed by Big Bear Lake City Council in Monday Meeting

Big Bear Lake’s City Council meets for their first regular meeting of the month this evening, though Council members have been in a budget workshop this morning. Discussion items for this evening’s meeting, to be held at 6:30pm in Hofert Hall, include the possible extension of the Village Street closure to Cottage Lane on Friday night, May 21 to accommodate anticipated crowds in town for the Amgen Tour of California. Council will also address DWP water stand-by fees during the open session portion of this evening’s meeting, with a Public Hearing on this item tentatively set for June 14.
