Big Bear’s 1st Lieutenant Jared Landaker, son of Joe and Laura Landaker, is scheduled to be featured on television this evening, during the “Fallen Heroes” segment of the Nancy Grace news program, which airs on CNN’s HLN cable network, which is on channel 49 for Charter customers. The show airs at both 5 and 8pm, we’re told, and will highlight Landaker and Big Bear. Landaker, a 1999 Big Bear High School graduate, lost his life in February 2007, while serving with the U.S. Marine Corps in Iraq. His family has since established the Seven Stars Foundation, named for Landaker and his six crewmates; the seven will be remembered in the 3rd annual Memorial Run for Freedom, which will be staged from Snow Summit on September 26. In the meantime, Landaker’s “Fallen Heroes” segment airs this evening at 5 and 8pm on the HLN television network.
