The Big Bear Pilots Association hosts the Young Eagles program on second Saturdays through the summer, from 9am to 11:30am. This is an opportunity for youth, ages 7 to 17, to enjoy a free flight over Big Bear Lake, following a pre-flight review of the aircraft. The flight is free, though parents must sign a waiver prior to takeoff from the Big Bear Airport, located in Big Bear City off Big Tree (just north of the Boulevard). For more info, contact Roger Schmidt at 585-0266.
