New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade

Snow Summit Ski Resort hosts the annual New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade (featuring resort staff, serpentining down the mountain with torchlights) and party at the resort at the southern end of Summit Boulevard in Big Bear Lake. This is a can’t-miss tradition, and can be viewed from the resort’s base, as well as from other locations within the Big Bear Valley, including the North Shore. For more info, call Snow Summit at 909/866-5766. (Big Bear Mountain Resorts also host a New Year’s Eve party at Bear Mountain; cover charges apply to both, though torchlight viewing is free.)
