Seniors’ Cinco de Mayo Fiesta

Students of Big Bear High School’s Rotary-sponsored Interact Club host the 8th annual party in celebration of Big Bear’s 55 and older crowd. The free event features food from Hacienda Grill, door prizes, and dancing to Big Band-era, country and ’50s music. Seniors should sign up in person at the Big Bear Senior Center (site for the event), as the fun Fiesta tends to fill to capacity each year. After graduating from BBHS, Catherine moved to Los Angeles to attend Loyola Marymount University. In her 20 years off the mountain, most recently in Manhattan Beach, Catherine's career has included publishing, broadcasting, public relations and public education; she served as KBHR's News Director from April 2007 to July 2010.
