The first of this season’s fundraisers in support of the 60th anniversary of Old Miners’ Days is the Old Miners’ Dance at the Big Bear Convention Center, and will include Maverick Old West Poker and “scraggly characters” and “shady ladies” from the Reenactment Guild of America. Food and 50/50 drawing will also be available. Admission is $8 at the door (21 and over). For more info, call Sarah Vasquez at 585-5796.
