Big Bear’s 6th Annual Walk for MS

The community is once again invited to walk along the Alpine Pedal Path in the sixth annual Walk MS to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The walk and celebration begin at North Shore Elementary School on Stanfield Cutoff at North Shore Drive in Big Bear Lake. Check-in begins at 9am, opening ceremonies at 10:30am, official walk along the Alpine Pedal Path (one mile or 5K) at 11am. Walk will be followed by lunch, music, awards, and fun kid zone. After graduating from BBHS, Catherine moved to Los Angeles to attend Loyola Marymount University. In her 20 years off the mountain, most recently in Manhattan Beach, Catherine's career has included publishing, broadcasting, public relations and public education; she served as KBHR's News Director from April 2007 to July 2010.
