3rd Annual Snowshoe the Bear

All ages and skill levels are welcome to participate in the 3rd annual Snowshoe the Bear competition, which launches from the Village of Big Bear Lake and includes both 5K and 10K snowshoe race courses. Same day registration available, from 7-9am in the Village; races begin at 10am, with a free kids’ race at noon. Expo and music follow, with awards at 1pm.  Snowshoe the Bear is part of the Conquer the Bear series, and more info is available online at OpenAirBigBear.com. Cost is $25 for 5K, $45 for 10K; particpants should bring their own snowshoes.
