1st Lt. Jared Landaker Memorial Run for Freedom

The Seven Stars Foundation honors Big Bear’s 1st Lieutenant Jared Landaker, USMC, with the third annual Memorial Run for Freedom, which begins at Snow Summit resort. The patriotic event includes a 15K, 10K, 5K and one-mile walk. (15K starts at 8am, 10K at 8:15, 5K at 8:30.) Runners, walkers and spectators welcome to participate in this family-friendly event to honor Landaker and six others who lost their lives in Iraq in 2007. To pre-register, visit active.com.
